Tower Bridge

Teddy is pretty hooked on the Lego building. Aswell as a ton of Lego City sets, he has almost all the current Harry Potter sets and is now saving his pennies for Diagon Alley.

For his birthday he asked for the Tower of London. Here's a little slideshow of its building progress, which only took him 4 days.

I get the pleasure of displaying it in my craft room. At least it goes with the Monet ;0)

Queen Bee

Check out this new pattern I found at the weekend - the beekeeper's quilt. If you are any kind of sock knitter, you must have a ton of little leftover balls of sock yarn. What a perfect project for them, right?

I couldn't wait to dig into my collection. Here's where I'm at already.
There is so much to love about this project:
- the satisfaction of the quick knit - one hex doesn't take long at all;
- can someone say FREE. Gotta love a stashbuster;
- rediscovering all the beautiful yarns I've worked with in the past few years;
- new blanket. Can you ever have too many blankets?

Visit with the Tiny Owl Knits group on Ravelry to join the KAL/hex swap, or for some cute charts to use to decorate plain hexes.

Enjoy
